Invitation for Bids for renovation Project and Interior decoration

1.      Salt Trading Corporation Limited (STCL) invites sealed bids from eligible for Civil, Furniture and Electrical & Networking works to be undertaken at its premises at Kalimati Kathmandu.

2.      Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and purchase the bidding documents at the office of STCL, General Administration, Central Office, Kalimati, Kathmandu, Tel +977-1-4271014 / 4271208, fax +977-1-4271704 / 4271395, e-mail admin@stcnepal.com / business@stcnepal.com /trade@stcnepal.com. For all correspondence purposes required by the successful bidder, the details will be provided later.

3.      Bidding documents may be purchased on or before 12:00 hours on 9^th,March, 2017 (26Falgun 2073) from the above office of STCL, Kathmandu by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with a copy(s) of experience interior works of at least 4000 Sft or above in the last 3 years, Company/ Firm / Business Registration Certificate, Business registration certificate and latest TAX clearance certificates and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs 3000.00 (Nepali Rupees three thousand only) in cash.

4.      Sealed Bids must be submitted to the above office of STCL on or before 13:00 hours on9^th March, 2017 (26Falgun 2073). Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.

5.      The Bid documents shall consist of the Technical and Financial documents, sealed separately and submitted in single sealed envelope.

6.      Technical proposals will be opened and evaluated by the Consultant in the presence of STCL renovation committee members and Bidder’s representatives at 14:00 hours on9^th March, 2017 (26 Falgun 2073)at the office of STCL at Kalimati, Kathmandu, Nepal. Only the financial proposals of technically qualified firms will be opened at 14:00 hourson 10^th March, 2017 (27Falgun 2073)at the office of STCL at Kalimati, Kathmandu, Nepal.Financial proposals of unqualified bidders will be returned unopened.

7.      Bids must be valid for a period of 30 days countingfrom the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to 2.5% of the total value of the bid which shall be valid for minimum 21 daysbeyond the bid validity period.

8.      If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a Government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.

9.      Tender documents must be accompanied by and complied with the tender conditions. Tender will be rejected if major conditions in the tender documents are not fulfilled.

11.  The Purchaser (STCL) reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to the award of the contract.
